Why Myo?

Strengthening the tongue can be beneficial in reducing snoring, sleep apnea, and clenching/grinding.

Addressing muscle compensations in the face and upper airway can help relieve TMJ or facial tension and pain.

Optimizing oral function and nasal breathing calms the nervous system and is very helpful for people with anxiety, depression, ADD/ADHD symptoms, and digestive issues.

Hi, I’m Annie

Close-up of a young woman with long, wavy, light brown hair smiling outdoors with green foliage in the background.

Mouth breathing, snoring, and chronic pain were lifelong issues for me. In my search to improve my own health, I was thrilled to discover my background in dentistry could be key. I am passionate about helping people improve their quality of life the way I have been able to improve mine through Myofunctional Therapy.

Myofunctional therapy typically involves sessions every two weeks for 6-9 months. While treatment plans are personalized to your specific needs, this is the duration and frequency I have found to be most successful with my patients.

We are not only doing exercises - we are working toward neuromuscular reeducation - completely retraining muscle memory for lifelong change.

I am happy to offer a 15 minute discovery call to answer questions and discuss how myofunctional therapy can benefit you.
