Hi, I’m Annie Hansen.
Orofacial myofunctional therapist and registered dental hygienist. Wife, mother of two boys, coffee lover, and knitter.
My husband and I moved to Anchorage in 2017 for what we thought would be two years. Like most Alaskans, now we can’t imagine living anywhere else.
I discovered myofuntional therapy after being told my son needed ear tubes. I wondered if there was a connection between eustacian tube issues and our shrinking jaws - i.e. not enough room for wisdom teeth. This question introduced me to the world of Airway Dentistry and Myofunctional Therapy.
Never satisfied with a band-aid solution for my own health, I love problem solving with my patients. I am excited that you found me!
